Communal Harmony Campaign Week observed from November 19-25, 2017
The Communal Harmony Campaign Week was observed from November 19-25, 2017 by National Foundation for Communal Harmony (NFCH).
The observance aimed at fostering and reinforcing the spirit of communal harmony, national integration and pride in vibrant, composite culture and nationhood.

The observation highlighted inherent strength and resilience of our nation to withstand actual and potential threats to eclectic and secular fabric of the country and nurture a spirit of communal harmony in its widest sense. It also provided opportunity to reaffirm age old traditions and faith in values of tolerance, brotherhood and co-existence in multi-cultural and multi-religious society.
Various programmes were organized by different stakeholders including educational institutions, public sector enterprises (PSUs), Government Departments/agencies, NGOs and voluntary organizations, etc. during the week to promote the ethos of Communal Harmony and National Integration
National Foundation for Communal Harmony (NFCH)
NFCH is an autonomous organisation under Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA). It organises Communal Harmony Campaign coinciding with Qaumi Ekta Week and also observes the Communal Harmony Flag Day. It promotes communal harmony and strengthens nationa; integration. NFCH under its Project ‘Assist’ provides financial assistance for relief and rehabilitation of children rendered orphan or destitute in communal, ethnic or caste, terrorist violence.
