The consequence of Pulwama Attack: Balkot Airstrikes

India launched the Balakot Airstrike in response to the Pulwama attack. During the airstrike, The IAF dropped bombs into Balkot and blasted the training camps of Jaish-e-Mohammed. At the UN

India wanted the United Nations Security Council to designate the Jaish-e-Mohammed Chief, Masood Azhar as a global terrorist. However, China blocked the resolution. If marked as a global terrorist, all assets of Masood will be frozen. He will be banned from travelling. Also, he cannot indulge in an arms embargo. However, after a big struggle, the UN designated Masood as a global terrorist. However, the organization did not mention the Pulwama attack marking him a terrorist. Meaning, he was not made a global terrorist for the Pulwama attack; but for other reasons.
