Notes:
Mission Vatsalya is an umbrella scheme for child protection services in the country implemented by the Women and Child Development (WCD) Ministry.
The Ministry released the guidelines for the scheme. Funds to states will be approved through the Mission Vatsalya Project Approval Board (PAB), which will be chaired by the WCD Secretary, who will approve annual plans and financial proposals received from states and UTs for release of grants.

Notes:
The Chhattisgarh Government has received an in-principle nod from the Central Government to go ahead with a USD 300 million school education project the State.
Department of Economic Affairs (DEA) under the Union Finance Ministry had given an in-principle approval for the project, which is to be funded by the World Bank.

India has been elected to the Intergovernmental Committee of UNESCO’s 2003 Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) for the 2022-2026 cycle.
India has already served as a member of the ICH Committee twice from 2006 to 2010 and from 2014 to 2018. India will be a part of two Committees of UNESCO — Intangible Cultural Heritage (2022-2026) and World Heritage (2021-2025).

Former NITI Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant has been named as India’s new Sherpa for the G-20, replacing Piyush Goyal, Minister for Commerce & Industry and Consumer Affairs.
India is set to assume G-20 presidency from December 1, 2022 to November 30, 2023. The Sherpa will attend meetings that will be held in different parts of the country.

The Indian government has decided to share with the world the many e-governance tools including Aadhaar, the DigiLocker, CoWin Platform, the Government e-Marketplace, and Ayushman Bharat Digital Health Mission.
