Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the national portal for credit-linked government schemes named ‘Jan Samarth Portal’.
Jan Samarth Portal is a one-stop digital portal linking government credit schemes, to connect beneficiaries to lenders. It provides people with the right government benefits through simple and easy digital processes.

China successfully launched its third manned mission to its new space station, sending three astronauts to continue construction work for six months.
China’s Manned Space Agency (CMSA) announced that the Shenzhou-14 spacecraft was launched by a Long March 2F rocket. The team will live and work at the Tiangong Space Station’s Tianhe core module for six months.

Ace Tennis player Rafael Nadal won the final match to beat Casper Ruud and claim his 14th French Open Men’s single title.
With this victory, Nadal claimed his 14th championship at Roland Garros and 22nd Grand Slam title overall. He is two titles ahead of rivals Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic. French Open is a Grand Slam tennis tournament played on outdoor clay courts at the Stade Roland Garros in Paris, France.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a global initiative Lifestyle for the Environment (LiFE) Movement, on the occasion of World Environment Day through video conferencing.
The idea of LiFE was originally introduced by the Prime Minister during the 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference of the Parties COP-26 in Glasgow. ‘LiFE Global Call for Papers’ was initiated inviting ideas and suggestions to adopt an environment-conscious lifestyle.

Notes:
‘Ex SAMPRITI-X’, a joint military training exercise between India and Bangladesh commenced in Bangladesh, as part of bilateral defence cooperation.
The military training exercise is aimed at strengthening the features of interoperability and cooperation between both armies. The Indian contingent is represented by a battalion of the Dogra regiment.
