Objection by ASI
Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) warned the government of Odisha regarding the potential threats of the Puri Heritage Corridor project to the structure of the Puri Jagannath Temple. Massive digging near the temple creates structural safety issues to it. Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) is the custodian of Puri Jagannath Temple.
