Dilli ki Yogshala programme
The Dilli Ki Yogshala programme was launched by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. The campaign aims to keep the Delhites away from diseases and keep them fit.
About the initiative
- Around 400 yoga teachers are involved in the initiative.
- Under the initiative, the yoga teachers will teach yoga from door to door in Delhi.
- More than 3- coordinator teams are prepared to monitor the assigned teachers from time to time.
- A phone number and a website has been launched to fulfil the purpose of the scheme.
- If 25 people are willing to do yoga in a place, they can register by giving a missed call to 9013585858. Also, they can visit dilkiyogshala.com.
Why was the initiative launched?
Yoga helps to keep people less ill. Also, many people want to learn yoga but they are not able to as they do not get yoga teachers. And even they find a yoga teacher, the classes are expensive.

Yoga Initiatives of GoI
- M – Yoga app was alunched to achieve One World One Health. The app holds yoga training videos, and audio sessions. The app is available in Hindi, English and French.
- Thousands to yoga instructors are trained through Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana.
