LR Bomb

LR Bomb is the first long-range one-ton bomb of India. It was designed and developed by the Defence Research and Development Organization. The bomb is capable of carrying a warhead of 1000 kilograms. Also, it can hit target up to a distance of 100 kilometres.

About LR Bomb

The LR bomb was successfully flight tested in October 2021. It was fired from an Indian Air Force fighter aircraft. It was fired at an altitude of 10 kilometres. The bomb uses laser guidance to hit a target. India has been using Israeli-LASER guided bombs in all of its operations starting from Kargil. Now with LR Bomb, India is capable of hitting the ground targets up to a range of 100 kilometres. The LR Bomb is designed to disable airfield runways.

Bombs

The Bomb use exothermic reaction to provide sudden and violent energy. They were first used in East Asia in 1221. It was used by a Jurchen Jin against the Chinese Song city.
