Exercise Ajeya Warrior
India and the UK launched a two-week military exercise in Chaubatia, Uttarakhand, to further strengthen bilateral defense cooperation between the two countries.

- The sixth edition of Exercise Ajeya Warrior is part of an initiative to develop interoperability and the exchange of experience with friendly foreign nations.
- The exercise will culminate on October 20.
- An Indian Army infantry company and an equivalent British Army force would share their experiences in conducting various military operations in their respective countries and during overseas deployment.
Objective of this exercise
Both armies would become familiar with the equipments, tactics, weapons, and the various procedures for conducting joint military operations. Along with this a series of discussions by experts would be held on various topics of common interest, such as exchange of experiences in joint armed forces, Concept of combined arms, operational logistics, etc. The joint military training would culminate in a gruelling 48-hour exercise to verify the performance of both armies in conducting joint military operations in a semi-urban environment. The joint military training will make a great contribution to the improvement of bilateral relations and will also be an important step in further strengthening the traditional friendship between the two nations.
About Exercise Ajeya Warrior
Ajeya Warrior is a bilateral military exercise between India and Great Britain. India and the British armies are trying to improve interoperability between them through this exercise. In the year 2013, the first military training took place. In the year 2015 the second edition and in 2017 the third edition of this exercise took place.
