National commission for allied and healthcare professionals bill

National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professionals Bill is a legislation targeting healthcare professionals. It was recently passed by the Lok Sabha after being passed by the Rajya Sabha last week. It seeks to regulate and standardize of the healthcare and its allied professions with regard to education and practice. It proposes the setting up of National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions along with Professional Councils for each category of healthcare and its allied professions.
