National bank for financing infrastructure and development

National bank of financing infrastructure and development or NaBFID is a development financial institution for funding infrastructure projects in India. This bank is to be answerable to the parliament and it is to submit audited accounts to the Houses of the Parliament every year. It is however outside the purview of CBI, CVC and CAG- to enable faster decision-making. The bill for establishment of NaBFID was recently passed in the Rajya Sabha.
