Project Suvigya

SANGAM is a software project which will provide useful Management Information System (MIS) to the financial planners in the Ministry of Defence. It will facilitate issuance of corrigendum pension payment orders. This will address the demand from the ex-servicemen for issue of individual corrigendum pension payment order consequent to implementation of recommendations of Sixth Central Pay Commission (6th CPC). The programme is one step ahead of the project ‘SUVIGYA’ which was launched in October 2010 on the occasion of Defence Account Department Day and is very popular among defence pensioners.
