Rabindra Kuthi Bari

Rabindra Kuthi Bari is a country house in Kushtia in Bangladesh. It was built by Dwarkanath Tagore, the grandfather of Rabindranath Tagore, the noted Bengali poet and Nobel Laureate. It was in this house that Tagore had composed several of his works like Sonar Tari, Chaitali, Katha o Kahini, etc. Parts of the Gitanjali were also composed here. It is currently preserved as the ‘Tagore Memorial Museum’. It is one of the spots on the PM’s itinerary.
