World Air Quality Report
World Air Quality Report is an assessment of air pollution status based on data from 106 countries. It is published by a Swiss group, IQAir. The assessment is based on PM 2.5 levels. According to the 2020 report, 35 out of the 50 most polluted cities in the world are in India. New Delhi has been ranked as the most polluted capital in the world for the 3rd consecutive year. The PM 2.5 concentration in New Delhi in 2020 was found to be 3 times as high as in Beijing.
