La Almoloya
La Almoloya is an archaeological site located in the Iberian Peninsula. It a bronze age site that falls within the territory of modern day Spain. It is an expansive complex found atop a hill. A double burial of a couple in a 3,700 year old grave was discovered in La Almoloya. The presence of large number of silver grave goods with the female remains has raised debates about the standing of women in Bronze Age Europe.
