Professor Idiom is a chatbot to help students learn the English language. It was developed by a Kolkata based NGO, Abheda Foundation with the help of IBM India. It is powered by artificial intelligence technology and helps students understand the meaning of idioms in English. The chatbot can carry on conversations with students for up to 15 minutes to determine their conversational skills. The application was developed to help students in rural Bengal.
