PMSSN

The Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Nidhi (PMSSN) received Union Cabinet’s nod as the single non-lapsable reserve fund for Health in Public Account. The fund will be utilised for the implementation of the Centre’s flagship schemes like AB-PMJAY, PMSSY etc., for responding to health crises and for achieving sustainable development goals. It will be maintained by the Union Health Ministry. The expenditure of health schemes will be initially incurred from the PMSSN.
