Hafnium attack
Hafnium attack is a cyberattack by a Chinese state- backed hacker group called the Hafnium group. Recently, the group attacked Microsoft’s business e-mail software, Exchange, by exploiting its security flaws. The group has targeted at least 60,000 victims around the world by infiltrating into both private and government computer networks to steal data. Previously, the group had targeted US-based law firms, think tanks, NGOs, universities, defence contractors and even infectious disease researchers.
