Crypto art

Crypto art refers to a niche genre of art that is related to blockchain technology. These artworks are tracked and traded through the distributed ledger system and hence its uniqueness is established (i.e. recorded on the blockchain). Each individual piece of crypto art is called a non-fungible token (as opposed to a fungible token that is inter-changeable or a token that can be replaced with another of its kind). Crypto art is being increasingly considered as an investment.
