Chabahar Day

Chabahar Day is to be observed on March 4^th, 2021 on the sidelines of the Maritime India Summit. It is to be a virtual event and will see the participation of Afghanistan, Iran, Russia, Armenia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. Chabahar Port is a geo-strategically significant project in Iran that will help India access Afghanistan and other Central Asian countries without having to going through Pakistan. This will boost connectivity and trade ties with the central Asian region.
