Education Finance Watch 2021

Education Finance Watch 2021 is a report released by the World Bank and UNESCO on February 19. According to this report, two-thirds of low and lower-middle income countries reduced their spending on public education since the coronavirus outbreak. These countries’ education budget was insufficient to address the pandemic-induced challenges. The reduced education spending is estimated to remain for a long time due the economic crisis.
