George Floyd Justice in Policing Act of 2021

George Floyd Justice in Policing Act of 2021 was reintroduced in the US Congress recently. The proposed law has provisions to limit qualified immunity for law enforcement and ban no-knock warrants in federal drug cases and racial profiling by law enforcement. The bill was named in honour of George Floyd who died while in police custody last year. His death led to widespread demonstration against police misconduct and for racial justice.
