SFURTI

SFURTI or Scheme of Fund for Regeneration of Traditional Industries is an initiative to promote cluster development of traditional industries and artisans. It is an initiative of the Ministry of MSME and the KVIC is the nodal agency for promotion. Recently, 50 SFURTI clusters were inaugurated in 18 states. The ministry has funded some 85 crore INR for these clusters. These clusters would be supporting more than 42,000 artisans.
