Tree City

Hyderabad is India’s only city to be recognised as a 2020 Tree City of the World. This recognition is given by Ardor Day Foundation and FAO for the promotion and maintenance of urban forests. This feat of Hyderabad is attributed to the successful implementation of Haritha Haaram programme. So far, 120 cities from 63 countries have earned Tree City tag. Majority of these are from the UK, US, Canada, Australia etc.
