Labour Bureau surveys

In a first, the labour bureau under the Union Labour Ministry will be conducting 5 nationwide surveys in five main regional languages along with English and Hindi. This is to minimise data inaccuracies. The regional languages to be used in these household surveys are Telugu, Tamil, Bengali, Assamese and Malayalam. The surveys will be on migrant workers, domestic workers, professional employments etc. Software applications were also launched for these surveys.
