ASDDS

Approved Standardised Deep-Sea Fishing Vessels (DSFV) Design and Specifications (ASDDS) provides minimum basic design parameters for deep-sea fishing vessels. If the DSFVs comply with these parameters, they will be eligible for subsidy under the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY). The ASDDS will encompass basic design parameters like Outline Specifications, General Arrangements, Basic Structural Drawings etc. A nodal authority was recently set up to frame ASDDS.
