Koo app

The Koo app was launched early last year as an alternative to Twitter. This microblogging site took part and won the government’s Atmanirbhar App Innovation Challenge, resulting in it gaining spotlight. It later found mention by PM Modi during his Mann Ki Baat address. With Twitter and the Indian government currently embroiled in conflicting views over the issue of farmers’ protest, several ministers and departments from the Central Government have shifted to this indigenously-developed app.
