Mumbai Police’s ‘Top 25’ drive

‘Top 25’ drive is an initiative of Mumbai Police aimed at curbing unlawful activities by history-sheeters and those who may cause trouble. All police stations in Mumbai were directed to make a list of the “top 25” criminal elements in their jurisdiction. The listed criminals will be asked to sign a bond of good behaviour, failing which they will be liable to pay fine. In case the individual fails to pay fine, he/she will be jailed.
