Metro project inaugurated by PM modi
On December 7, 2020, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Agra metro project through video conference. The project consists of two corridor connecting the major tourist attractions with railway stations and bus stand.
Orchha, Gwalior included in UNESCO World Heritage cities list
Orchha and Gwalior, the historic Fort cities located in Madhya Pradesh of India have been included in the UNESCO World Heritage cities list. This has been done under the Urban Landscape City programme of UNESCO.
Two new Zoos receive recognition from centre
The Union Minister of environment, forest and climate change Prakash javadekar chaired the 37 the General Body Meeting of Central zoo authority. During the meeting two new zoos were granted recognition. They were the Rajgir Zoo Safari in Nalanda, Bihar and the Ashfaque Ullah Khan Prani Udyaan of Gorakpur, Uttar Pradesh.

Global Understanding of India Project launched by ICCR
The Indian Council for Cultural Relations recently launched the Global understanding of India project. Under the project, the ICCR will survey the text books that are taught in schools of other countries.

MiG-29K pilot body recovered
The Indian Navy recently recovered the body of missing pilot commander of Mig-29K, Nishant Singh from the Sea bed at a depth of 70 metres. The MiG-29K crashed on November 26, 2020 during an operation over the Arabian Sea.
