Mumbai Indians lift their first IPL trophy by defeating CSK

Mumbai Indians (MI) defeated Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to win their first IPL title.  In the final match played at Eden Garden stadium of Kolkata, MI  vanquished CSK with a 23-run victory. CSK could score only 125 runs at the loss of nine wickets while chasing the moderate target of 149 runs against Mumbai Indians.
MI is owned by India’s biggest conglomerate, Reliance Industries, through its 100% subsidiary IndiaWin Sports. Ownership of MI: IndiaWin Sports Pvt Ltd (Stake: 98.3%), Teesta Retail Pvt Ltd. (Stake: 1.7%).
