Govt clears 10.82% stake sale in SAIL

Following the revised disinvestment target of Rs 24,000 crore in the current fiscal, the Empowered Group of Ministers (EGoM) on Disinvestment chaired by Finance Minister P Chidambaram, cleared a 10.82% stake sale in steel major SAIL. So far government has generated over Rs 22,300 crore through PSU stake sales.
