Kamal Nath to lead Indian delegation in WEF meet
PM Manmohan Singh has selected urban development and parliamentary affairs minister Kamal Nath to lead the Indian team in the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) annual summit in Davos, Switzerland. The team has 3 other ministerial members:
- Commerce & industry minister Anand Sharma
- Heavy industry minister Praful Patel
- Power minister Jyotiraditya Scindia
It is for the first time that someone who is not heading the ministries of finance or commerce has been made a skipper for this event.
