Pakistan test fires mid-range nuclear capable Hatf-V Ghauri ballistic missile
Pakistan successfully conducted a test of its mid-range nuclear capable Hatf-V Ghauri ballistic missile.
Hatf-V Ghauri missile:
- Liquid-fuelled ballistic missile
- Capable of carrying both conventional as well as nuclear payload
- Range: 1,300km.
The Ghauri missile was first test-fired on April 6, 1998
As per Defense analysts: “India’s strategic priorities are focused more on China, while Pakistan is still concerned about India”
