M.Venkaiah Naidu launches POSHAN Anthem

The Vice President of India, M.Venkaiah Naidu on Tuesday, 3rd December 2019, launched the POSHAN Anthem in New Delhi with the aim to encourage and inspire people to join the POSHAN Abhiyaan to fight against the scourge of malnutrition.

The Anthem was sung and composed by Shankar Mahadevan and written by Prasoon Joshi.

The POSHAN Abhiyan was launched by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi on the event of International Women’s Day on 8th March 2018 from Jhunjhunu district in Rajasthan.

The Abhiyan was launched to direct the attention of the people in the country in a mission mode towards the problem of malnutrition and to further improve the nutritional outcomes for pregnant women, children, and lactating mothers.

The Anthem will further help to generate awareness among the citizens of our country on the importance of nutrition.
