5th Dialogue of NITI Aayog and DRC, China

The 5th Dialogue between the think tank of both India and China was held in Wuhan, China on Thursday, November 28, 2019.

The dialogue is a part of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to China in 2015.

National Institution for Transforming India(NITI Aayog) and Development Research Centre(DRC) China, based on the agreement during the 4th dialogue held in Mumbai last year, primary findings were presented as a key deliverable on joint research in the areas of urbanization and WTO reforms.

Both NITI Aayog and DRC emphasized promoting infrastructure and green transportation, development of smart cities and sustainable urbanization.

Separate sessions on the globalization and macroeconomic policies in India and China, potential for Sino-India economic cooperation and trade, innovation and development, and global economy.

The 6th dialogue between the think tank of both nations will be held in India in November 2020.
