IMCOR 2019

The eighth edition of the Indo-Myanmar coordinated patrol (IMCOR) will be held from 20 to 28 May 19.

IMCOR

The IMCOR is a coordinated patrol (CORPAT) initiative between the Navies of Indian and Myanmar. The objective of the coordinated patrol is to address issues of terrorism, illegal fishing, drug trafficking, human trafficking, poaching and other illegal activities inimical to the interest of both the nations.

Instituted in 2013, this CORPAT exercise has enhanced the mutual understanding and fostered improved professional interaction between the two navies for maritime interoperability.
