Supreme Court seeks Centre’s view on bringing all tribunals under one Umbrella

Supreme Court has sought the Centre’s view to bring all the quasi-judicial bodies under one central umbrella body to ensure efficient functioning and streamlining the working of tribunals within 2 weeks. The five-judge Constitution bench, headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi will deal with recommendation of the search-cum-selection committee for the appointment of members in National Company Law Tribunal and National Company Law Appellate Tribunal should be immediately implemented.
