Discrepancy in Tendering of Polavaram Project

The Andhra Pradesh Government charged of creating discrepancies by the opposition parties in awarding contract in the Polavaram Project.  However, the state government denied all charges made by the opposition of discrepancies.  Andhra government said that state had done a reverse tendering of the Polavaram Project, which was awarded to Megha Infrastructure and Engineering Company. The State finance minister said that his government has different priorities including health, education, infrastructure development etc.
