Miss Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach crowned Miss Universe 2015
Miss Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach has been 64th crowned Miss Universe after beating out contenders from the United States, France, Colombia and Australia.
She was crowned by 2014 Miss Universe winner Paulina Vega of Columbia. Miss USA Olivia Jordan has been named the second runner-up.
About Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach
- Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach is a Filipino-German actress, model, beauty writer and beauty pageant titleholder born to German father and Filipino mother.
- She had started working actress as at age 11 under the screen name Pia Romero. She had appeared in films such as Kung Ako Na Lang Sana (2003), All My Life (2004) and All About Love (2006).
- Presently, she is working as stylist and writer for the lifestyle section of a leading newspaper in the Philippines.
