Ujjawala Scheme

Comprehensive Scheme for Combating Trafficking or Ujjawala Scheme was introduced in December 2007 aims at prevention of trafficking and at providing support for rescue, rehabilitation, reintegration and repatriation of victims of trafficking for commercial sexual exploitation. The Scheme is being implemented mainly through NGOs.
