India has decided to downgrade its diplomatic links with Denmark.

India has decided over this after Denmark’s refusal to take action against the main accused in the Purulia arms drop case accused Kim Davy.
India is upset over Denmanrk’s refusal to act on India’s consistent request to appeal in their apex court to assist Davy’s extradition to India.
Indian government has issued a circular that directs all senior officials not to meet or entertain any Danish diplomat posted in India.
Denmark has shown obdurate attitude to despite India’s promise to put Davy in a special jail if extradited.
