• Indian Grand Master Viswanatan Anand retained the FIDE ( Federation Internationale des Echec) World Chess Title for the record 5^th time
• Defeated Boris Gelfand of Israel after 2^nd round of tie breaker game in Moscow
• The title has been held by Anand since 2007
