Barak Obama makes surprise visit to Afghanistan; US, Afghan sign Strategic Partnership Agreement

The US President Barak Obama arrived in Afghanistan capital Kabul, on a surprise visit.
US President Barak Obama and Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai have signed historic Strategic Partnership Agreement outlining cooperation between the two countries after withdrawal of all international forces in 2014. The agreement marks the beginning of the end of a war against terror in Afghanistan that has lasted for more than a decade.

The US President reiterated his commitment to pull out 23,000 troops from Afghanistan by the end of summer and sticking to the 2014 deadline to hand over security responsibility to the Afghan forces.
