How is Indian government going to fix the issues which are stippling its Indian Airline industry?

The Civil Aviation Ministry has recognised the fact that the domestic carriers need to be given a level playing field. After the Jet Airways was grounded there were obvious airline capacity shortage problems. The Domestic players in Airlines have to pay an Excise Duty to the tune of 11 percent but are not given any credit against it in the final liability on air-fare which is charged to the customers in shape of GST. The absence of this credit serves an extra cost to the airline. Thus, once this is earmarked it is thus imperative on part of the government to make Airlines a level playing field.
