Classification of Technician post: General Central Service Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.

Classification of Farm Superintendent Post: General Central Service, Group ‘B’ Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.

Essential Qualification

Technician:

Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Certificate in Electrical trade or Diesel Mechanic Trade or Motor Mechanic Trade or Tractor Mechanic Trade with Three years experience in any of the trades mentioned above and proficiency in driving and maintenance of vehicles and tractors and should possess a valid Driving License for light and Heavy Duty Vehicles and Tractors;

Industrial Training Institute (ITI) certificate in Electrical or Electronic or instrument Mechanic with three years experience in auto electrical or instruments or electronics maintenance
Posts are identified for the following trade:

Motor Drive (Diesel Mechanic Trade), Diesel Mechanic or Motor Mechanic or Tractor Mechanic Motor Mechanic, Electrician

Farm Superintendent:

(i) Master’s Degree in Agronomy from a recognised University or institute;

(ii) Two years’ practical or research experience in agronomical problems in Central 6overnment or State, Government or Union Territory Administrations or Public sector undertakings or Agricultural universities or recognised research institutions or councils or semi-Government or autonomous or statutory organisations.
