Essential Qualification

The candidates eligible for recruitment are classified into three streams:

Agents Category,
Employees Category
Open Market Category

For Employees category:

Bachelor’s Degree of a University in India established under a statute or approved for the purpose or the Fellowship of Insurance Institute of India, Mumbai.
Not less than 3 years of service after confirmation in Class III post

For Agents category:

Bachelor’s Degree of a University in India established under a statute or approved for the purpose or the Fellowship of Insurance Institute of India, Mumbai.
For Urban area recruitment, not less than 5 years as an agent or other than agent (such as DSE/FSE) and has brought a net First Year Premium Income of not less than ₹ 5,00,000/- during the immediately preceding 5 financial years and a net First Year Premium Income of not less than ₹ 1,00,000/- on 50 lives in each of any 3 of these financial years.
For Rural area recruitment, Not less than 4 years as an agent or other than agent(such as DSE/FSE) and has brought a net First Year Premium Income of not less than ₹ 1,00,000/- on 50 lives per year in any 3 of the immediately preceding 4 financial years.

For Others Category:

Bachelor’s Degree of a University in India established under a statute or approved for the purpose or the Fellowship of Insurance Institute of India, Mumbai.
Preference would be given to candidates who have at least 2 years experience in life insurance industry.

Selection Procedure

Selection of candidates for all the posts would be made on the basis of the performance of the eligible candidates in the following:

On-line test
Interview

Age

Minimum: 21 years

Maximum: 30 years

Cut Off Date: 01.05.2019

Upper Age limit is relaxable by:

3 years for OBC (Non Creamy Layer).

5 years for SC/ST candidates.

Etc.

Fee

General/OBC candidates: Rs 600

SC/ST candidates: Rs 50

Other Information

Bond

Candidates have to give the undertaking to serve the Corporation for a minimum period of four years from the date of joining failing which they will be liable to pay Rs 25000.

Pay Scale

Stipend: Rs 34503

A Probationary Development Officer at a specified Headquarter: ₹ 21865-1340(2)-24545-1580(2)-27705-1610(17)-55075 plus allowances and other benefits.

Probationary Development Officer: ₹ 21,865/- per month (except for Employee Category candidates) in the scale of 21865-1340(2)-24545-1580(2)-27705-1610(17)- 55075 and other admissible allowances.
