Tourism Ministry launches e-ticketing facility for Taj Mahal, Humayun’s Tomb

Tourism Ministry has launched e-ticketing facility for the two Archaeological Survey of India (ASI)-maintained monuments Taj Mahal in Agra and Humayun’s Tomb in New Delhi.
In this regard web portal was launched by Minister of State for Culture and Tourism Mahesh Sharma in New Delhi in order to facilitate ticketing facility.
This e-ticketing facility is a joint collaboration of ASI and Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (ICRTC).
It will help tourist’s book tickets 90 days in advance. Visitors can book advance tickets in three categories- foreign visitor, SAARC visitor and domestic visitor and can pay via debit card, credit card or through net banking.
Thus, this facility is launched to boost tourism by providing tourists with an option of choosing time as per their convenience to visit these monuments.
