What is Cloud Seeding?How it is useful?

Cloud Seeding is a type of weather modification in which the injection of a substance into the clouds from an aircraft or from the ground (e.g., by rocket) is done in order to induce the clouds to give Precipitation. Seeding agents include solid carbon dioxide (‘dry ice’) and silver iodide since their particles act as nuclei for the producing of raindrops.
