NIFT Recruitment 2018 for Assistant Professor Posts

National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has invited applications from eligible and interested candidates for the recruitment to the posts of Assistant Professor. The total number of posts is 63. These vacancies are contractual in nature. The upper age limit for these posts is 30 years. The last date to apply for these posts is 23rd March 2018. The selection process comprises of written test and interview/ presentation. The eligible candidates shortlisted by the Screening Committee based on their performance in written test shall be called for presentation/class room
lecture/demonstration before a group of faculty. They will also have to appear for interview before the Selection Committee. All the other relevant details are mentioned in the notification, the link for which is given at the end of the post.

Educational Qualification

Post Graduate programme with minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade from the Institutes of National and International repute with minimum 03 years of post-qualification experience in teaching and/or research at university/national and international level institutions in the relevant areas/or in relevant industry OR Doctoral Degree with post qualification experience of atleast 1 year in industry or teaching or research in an Institute or University of National and International repute in the relevant areas.
