Baba Kalyani re-nominated as Co-Chairman of Indo-Japan Business Leader’s Forum
Baba Kalyani has been re-nominated as the Co-Chairman of the India-Japan Business Leader’s Forum (IJBLF). The Ministry of Commerce and Industry appointed Kalyani as chairman of IJBLF. Kalyani is Chairman and Managing Director of Bharat Forge Ltd.
The members of IJBLF are accompanying PM Narendra Modi on his maiden visit to Japan.
IJBLF is a forum to leverage the trade and investment between the two nations for greater co-operation between their businesses. At present, the forum has 15 members that include Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani, Bharti Enterprises head Sunil Bharti Mittal, HDFC Chairman Deepak Parekh, Infosys S. Gopalakrishnan, TCS CEO N. Chandrasekaran and Godrej Group Chairman Adi Godrej. The forum continues to strengthen the business processes and discover newer opportunities for both nations.
