What is flow line map?

Flow-Line Map is a map showing freight movement, tonnage of shipping, passengers. A line indicates the trend of the route way concerned, whereas the quantitative indication of traffic is indicated by the thickness of the line drawn to scale, using values such as Tons, Ton-Kilometers, or ton-kilometers per kilometer.
